Putting yourself first is not selfish or narcissistic. Loving yourself is not arrogant, selfish or self-indulgent, it's a form of self-care.


You teach people how you like to be treated and you lead by example yourself. You have heard the saying treat people the way you would like to be treated.


Without setting healthy boundaries from the beginning of your relationship it can sometimes lead to toxic and unhealthy partnerships.


You might feel overwhelmed, and develop stress & anxiety as you feel your values pushed to one side to meet the needs of others.


Boundaries set out your core values and clear behaviours that you expect your partner to respect and it is a two-way street. Mutual respect promotes happy relationships otherwise it becomes toxic & controlling.


Boundaries are also needed in the workplace or in friendship groups where people try to suffocate you & disregard your needs & this is part of what this course teaches.


So it's not selfish or self-indulgent to take care of you. 💖
